Everest Base Camp (EBC) Trek 14N 15D Itinerary

Everest Base Camp (EBC) Trek 14N 15D Itinerary follows an impressive route through the heart of fine Sherpa villages, offering an ample chance to explore the beautiful forest, countrysides and several monasteries situated at high elevations on the way. We fly from Kathmandu to Lukla at first. From Lukla, our trek begins on the same day of arrival towards Phakding, from where climb on to Namche the next day and acclimatize there. Continuing via Thyangboche/Tengboche to Pheriche and Lobuche we reach a trekking hub between EBC and Kalapatthar and Lobuche- the Gorak Shep at 5710m, from where we follow the trail towards EBC (5364m) at first and get back for a night halt and continue towards Kalapatthar (5545m) the next day. This is the highest point we will reach in the entire trek and is the point of our return. Our return trail will be via Gorak Shep to Lobuche and Pheriche, descending all the way down to Lukla via Namchebazar. And head back to Kathmandu via a flight from Lukla.

This extra day is chosen for the sightseeing just because it often takes a single day to prepare the documents for the trekking and get the TIMS permit card; while we can utilize the day for a different tour experience in the cultural capital until the permits get ready. If we haven’t been able to hold a briefing session the earlier day due to possible late arrival or exhaustion caused by long-haul flight, we will hold it today. After a brief symposium about the trek, we will have dinner and get enough rest to get ready for tomorrow.
