This 14 Nights 15 Days Lhasa journey starts after an hour flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa which is more reminiscent to mountain flight. This flight offers the most spectacular mountain views of the beautiful mountain ranges. In Lhasa, our representative will receive us from the airport and transfer to hotel. From next day, we will enjoy the sightseeing tour to Lhasa city where we will explore the wonderful Potala palace, Norbulingka Monastery, Sera Monastery, Jokhang temple, the bustling Barkhor Streets and many more. Then after a couple of tour days in Lhasa, we will drive to Damsung, where our hiking begins but this is a short hike. However, the actual trekking begins on the 5th day for a couple of days, passing through the Tibetan meadow, glaciated villages, herder's camp, Kong Lo, with few layovers in between, we will reach beautiful largest high-altitude Namtso Lake and Tashi Do. After exploring these places, we then, drive back to Lhasa.
From Lhasa, we will have a tour drive towards Gyangtse via Yamdrok Lake. Drive continues, with night halts in between, towards Shigatse and Shegar/Tingri from where we will take a road to Rongbuk (5050m) for Everest Base Camp hike. Then, from EBC, we hike back to Rongbuk and drive to Kerung. Crossing the Nepal-Tibet border at Rasuwagadhi, we will finally drive to Kathmandu, where the tour concludes.

This Lhasa Namtso Trek with EBC 14N 15D is based on Fly-in Drive-out, means we will enter Lhasa via a flight and exit Lhasa via a road trip. However, the trip can always be customized according to the requirements with addition or deduction of the tour days and also altering the mode of transportation as per your travel duration. The travel is possible throughout the year, however, the best time to travel is in April through October due to its pleasant weather for the trip.
