Manaslu Circuit Trek 14N 15D is one of the most beautiful treks in Nepal. Amongst many, this one is less straggled compared to other popular treks like EBC and ABC treks. This Manaslu trek almost circumnavigates Mt. Manaslu from a near distance with jaw-dropping sights throughout. Mt. Manaslu is the eighth highest mountain in the world, rising high gracefully at 8156m, located at the northwest of Kathmandu in the Manaslu Conservation Area. The area is an abundance of natural biota and still preserves the cultural aspects dominating the region.

Setting off from Kathmandu on a drive along the Prithivi Highway via Dhading and Arughat to arrive at Sotikhola, from where the trekking begins on the next day. The trail is accompanied by splendid mountain scenery, walking between the borders of Nepal and Tibet, to explore very old monasteries, and to observe and experience the culture of ethnic groups and their unique lifestyles, which is much similar to the Tibetan culture, full of flora and fauna, as we also view Samdo Peak at (5000m), by crossing the Larkya (Larke) La Pass at (5106m). The route of Manaslu Circuit Trek is a captivating trail, which includes a view of the three peaks of Manaslu (Ngadi Chuli, Himalchuli, and Baudha), known as the "Japanese Peak". Manaslu is the best known Himal for trekking and doing an expedition as well. It is a well-known and highly popular but rarely visited area trekking. The Circuit trek of Manaslu can also be started from two or three other places, but a more common route for the Manaslu trip starts from Trisuli Bazar to Budhi Gandaki passing through extremely steep valleys to the distinct world of Sama, crossing the snow-covered Larkya La Pass, and descending to Marshyangdi Khola. The Larkya La Pass in Manaslu area is said to be quite technical nature. The trail circumvents all the obstacles to view a stunning Manaslu peak [8156m.] when crossing Larkya pass at 5106 meters, which is the toughest part of the entire trek. However, the view of other mountains from this glacier is equally breathtaking which will soothe our strenuous walk. The trail then descends and finally emerges onto the Marshyangdi river valley along the main trail of the Annapurna circuit. Here, we will arrive at Dharapani, from where we will take a vehicle and drive back to Kathmandu.

This Manaslu Circuit Trek 14N 15D is based on a combination of drive and trek only. The trip can always be customized as required by the guests with addition or deduction of the trip days. The mode of transportation is via land as airstrip is not available in the region and is close to Kathmandu as well. The travel is possible throughout the year, however, the best time to travel is in April through October due to its pleasant weather for the trip.
