Lhasa Tibet Tour offers you to travel to the unique destination- Lhasa, either via Nepal or from Tibet and return through both the options. This tour package, however, starts with a drive from Kathmandu crossing the Nepal-Tibet border at Rasuwagadhi and Kerung. Then, the drive from Kerung continues to southeast through the beautiful friendship highway of Tibetan Plateau. We will arrive at New Tingri/Shegar (4050m) for a night halt. Next day, the drive continues to Shigatse (4050m) through the highest mountain pass Gyatso La (5200m) and through Tsola (4500m) and along with the beautiful villages. From Shigatse, we will head towards Gyantse (3950m), while touring to different monasteries. Finally, we will drive to Lhasa via 3 big mountain passes, Simila, Karo La, Kampa La and explore Yamduk Lake and Karola Glacier, before reaching Lhasa. In Lhasa, we will have a two days tour at different ancient architectures, temples, monasteries and villages. The tour concludes on your return via a flight to Kathmandu or towards your destination. This tour can be arranged via flight or via road trip, both ways according to your preferential request.
Morning scenic drive from Kathmandu to Rashuwagadhi/Kyirong (Nepal-Tibet) border passing through Nepalese countryside landmarks, waterfalls, forests, etc. We arrive at the border and our guide will assist in completing all the necessary immigration formalities in both Nepalese and Tibet borders. After completion, we will continue our drive to Kyirong town (20Km) and check-in at the hotel.
