The Poonhill Trek 5N 6D Itinerary starts from Kathmandu, Nepal with a drive to Pokhara on the first day. The actual trek begins from Nayapul where we reach on the second day in our vehicle. The trek trail passes through the beautiful jungles, villages, tiny settlements, etc. where one can hardly escape from the view of mountains through the trail. We first reach Ulleri climbing the stone paved steps. On the third day, we continue our step towards Ghorepani, the gateway to Poonhill. Our 1-hour walk in the early morning on the fourth day towards northwest will take us to the ultimate vantage- The Poon Hill at 3210m. Enjoy the 360 views from atop and the sunrise view from the east gushing the vibrant rays to the awaited icy mountains changing to the gold. From Poonhill, we retrace our trail back to Ghorepani and continue towards Tadapani, below the Mt. Fishtail. On the fifth day, we will trek to Ghandruk, the large settlements of Gurung. After a half an hour more walk downhill will take us to Kimchi, where we get ourselves boarded into our vehicle and hit the bumpy road back to Pokhara. Our tour concludes on the sixth day after a return drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Our journey to Poonhill starts with a drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara initially. It will take around 6-7 hours of driving along the winding road through the beautiful rivers and villages, greens and thrills. Enjoy the ride along with the diversifying landscapes nature has offered to build Nepal.
We arrive in the afternoon at Pokhara and check-in at the hotel. Some rest and refreshment. Part of the leisure time can be used for the preparation for the trekking the next day. Evening time is for the walk around along the bank of this vibrant Fewa Lake.
