Tibet EBC (Everest Base Camp) Tour 8N 9D offers you to travel to the unique destination- Tibet/Lhasa, either via Nepal or from Tibet and return through both the options. This tour package, however, starts with a drive from Kathmandu crossing the Nepal-Tibet border at Rasuwagadhi and reach Kerung/Kyirong. Then, the drive from Kerung continues to the southeast through the beautiful friendship highway of Tibetan Plateau. We will arrive at New Tingri/Shegar (4050m) for a night halt. Next day, the drive continues towards the southern road to the Everest Base Camp (EBC) in Tibet, and reach EBC via hiking from Rongbuk Monastery, the highest in the world. We will enjoy the view of the Himalayas in EBC. Later, we head back to Shigatse (4050m) through the highest mountain passes Gyatso La (5200m) and Tsola (4500m) and through beautiful villages. From Shigatse, we will continue towards Gyantse (3950m), visiting different monasteries. Lastly, we will drive to Lhasa via 3 big mountain passes, Simila, Karo La, Kampa La and explore Yamduk Lake and Karo la Glacier, before reaching Lhasa. In Lhasa, we will have a two days tour at different ancient architectures, temples, monasteries and villages. The tour concludes on return via a flight to Kathmandu or towards your further destination. The first day is the day you arrive at the Land of The Himalayas-Nepal. You will be landing at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu. We cordially welcome you at the airport and transfer you to our hotel in Kathmandu. After your hotel check-in formalities, you can get refreshed and get some rest to overcome the tiresome long-haul flight, perhaps!
In the evening, a short briefing session will be held to familiarize you all about your upcoming trips.
